My experience with working side by side with Sarah’s Home was …. empowering. I felt very supported and loved in a very nonjudgmental way. The ladies of Sarah’s home were more than willing to put their own lives aside and come together to save not only my beloved daughter but me as well. There is an overwhelming sense of commitment, determination, and abounding love for all of us involved. God’s love and mercy is shown in each one of the ladies working to rescue children. I felt empowered by the wise words of all involved. There were many opportunities for knowledge and many of those willing to teach me not only about the trafficking of children but how God’s love shines upon us all even when we don’t feel we deserve it. All the women of Sarah’s Home inspired me and motivated me to be a better person.
THANK YOU ALL!!!
The most impactful part of working alongside these ladies of Sarah’s Home was when I was blessed with my daughter coming home with the love of Jesus in her heart. When my daughter left for Sarah’s home she had no life in her eyes. She was in a very dark place and I had no idea how to save her. We were both stumbling around in the dark, I was frustrated and I cried out to the Lord many many times to help us. Finally, He said “Let me have her.” I surrendered her to God and she came back to me with a new spark of life in her eyes. My daughter had returned!!! PRAISE JESUS!! The wonderful loving hands of Sarah’s Home was just where God wanted both of us to heal.
As a mother, it is extremely difficult to watch your child struggle with the evil of this world. I have never had such a revolting hatred for another human being as I did for those who hurt my child. I started to go down my own dark path of revenge fueled by my anger and hatred. I learned from the Christian ladies of Sarah’s Home how to overcome that and leave it to God. “What is not taken care of here and now, will be taken care of then and there”. Those words told me to let God have it. I am thankful to all my Christian sisters that continue to fight against this evil plague victimizing our children.
I would say to the other parents looking for help to look at Sarah’s Home. The team at Sarah’s Home are beyond wonderful. They stand strong in the Lord’s word and fight for our children in ways I never knew. I join them in the fight now, armed with the knowledge and love of Jesus Christ.
It was hard to surrender my child to the hands of strangers. The group at Sarah’s Home become family with the constant support and reassuring that my child was loved and was where God wanted her to be to heal. They were in constant communication with me about her achievements, how she was driven to graduate high school ( I couldn’t even get her to stay for one class period) and she had a hunger for God’s word. The dark dead eyes of my child were coming alive again with a fierce determination not to be seen as a victim but as a survivor. I love all those involved and can never say thank you enough. I continue to pray for all those involved at Sarah’s Home. There are truly angels that walk among us and the ladies of Sarah’s Home are just a prime example of that.
